Blowing Fuse

97 Super Jet 701... Seems to start fine and then shut off with the stop switch. Next time I go to start it, no juice. I'll change the fuse, it will work for the next few start/stop cycles but then will blow on the next time i go to start. I've disconnected the stop switch to see if that's creating a short. I've also had the electrical box open and changed the regulator/rectifier but the same results. Everything else inside the electrical box looks fine (no shorts, it's dry, etc..) Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

His fuse is blowing as soon as he hooks the battery up.

The fuse will only prtect you from a dead short between positive and negative, as thats all it's designed to.

I'd be looking for a dodgy wire/connection somwhere, or a direct short from a positive wire ti ground somewhere.
