Blowsion 3 position Bildge switch problems

Anyone have a wiring diagram for one of these things. wired it in center is shut off like it is supposed to be- right position is on thats ok. left position, makes sparks-arcs and fire. Not Good! switch came with no wire diagram any one have one. I am guessing Black is ground, white is power, grey is power??:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Center is ground, left and right are "ON"...whatever you connect it to. Do not connect it straigt to the battery and then to ground!

I don't understand. That switch should only be handling the ground OR the power for your bilge. It has 3 wires, one is the signal, the other two are accessories.
So, if you are running the bilge pump switched positive: power goes from the battery, through a fuse, to the switch common. The other two wires will be energised when the switch is clicked over to them. The ground will go from the bilge negative to the battery negative or to the engine block.
If you are running the system switched ground you will run the power from the battery, to a fuse, to the power wire on the bilge. The switch will have a ground wire from the grounding source to the common wire on the switch, the bilge will then be connected (the bilge ground wire) to one of the other wires. The reson for the 2 position switch is so you can run 2 accessories, bilges or whatever, on the same switch.
I reccomend switched ground for salt water.

Did you put the two leads together for the on? If i remember corectly you put the two together and the one lead to ground.

The way i wired mine- center wire to the batt +, then i spliced the two center wires together to the bildge. That way it doesnt matter if you switch left or right the bildges still run
