bought a Blowsion flame arrestor and first ride with it on the sj this happened

Some do it pretty quick from the vibration, others take longer. Had that happen to. if its new call and get a return otherization. I think I re-glued mine with Marin RTV

Yup I re glued it with silicone for the weekend. But it also ripped down the side so took it back to get new one

I've owned 3 sets of blowsion flame arrestors and this happened to all of them...

That is standard for Tau Ceti's. K&N Proseries - 10 years running.

K&N all the way. Mine were at least 10 yrs old when I got them, and I've got 4yrs on them myself.

I think the RIVA and R&D are similar to the K&N as well, because I have a few of those that are about 10yrs old, and they still look great.
