BOB Hull question

I have a Gen2 BOB, and rode it for 2 years (2011-2012). Then work and relocations took me away from water and skiing until now. I'm going through the BOB now to start riding again, and I see hardly anything about BOBs like what I remember seeing in 2019-2012. To be honest, I haven't been on this forum since mid 2012. I've searched the forum, and don't see their presence like I remember before.

DK jr was seemingly on the forum almost all the time. Last entry was months and months ago.

BOB Hull website no longer exists.

Ski Clinic no longer has links to their BOB hulls for more info, just one choice on their own website for the Hurricance.

Last forum comments from BOB Hull seem to be about a shake up and new organization of the company to encourage better quality, etc. (circa 2012?)

There used to be several different hulls available. Racing hulls, flatwater hulls, surf hulls... or at least hulls that had better cross-purposing than my Gen2.

What did I miss? What happened? Thanks for any response.

Racing and surf hulls were something they played with, but never offered obviously. Bob hulls are outdated and inferior to their new hurricane offering in every way. Well except price. Bob hull website was basically turned into http://www.hurricaneind.com. Hulls are here with mention of a gen2 kit. http://www.shophurricaneind.com/Hulls_c_40.html

What happened? The Ski Clinic has split it's hull manufacturing and jet ski repair into two separate businesses. DK Jr runs hurricane Ind.

Those guys still have great support. I contacted one for a customer last week and DK sr was awesome to work with. Give them a shout if you have specific questions.

Thanks for the update. I was thinking of getting some parts while I get the ski running again, and your responses have helped me know all is well with BOB. I'll give them a ring and check out their new website.
