Bogging down after riding for a half hour

I’ve been riding my superjet, stock engine setup, for 5 years and it’s been completely reliable so far. This year I’ve been out twice and after running well for 20-30 minutes the engine has bogged down when at full throttle. It won’t recover back to a rideable power before I fall off of it, but has no issues restarting. I can hobble back to the dock but if I give it throttle it bogs down immediately.

I’m not sure where to start other than rebuilding the carbs, it just seems odd that it doesn’t start happening until it’s run great for awhile. Anything simple I’m missing? I appreciate the help.

Basicly same thing happend to my Rn Sj it would bog down if I gave it any throttle from idol but if I leaned the ski to take the pump out of the water so there was no load on the engine and rev it and take off at half throttle it would be fine, I ended up rebuilding the carbs and that solved the issue and runs perfect now.... a broken reed can also cause that issue but probally not the issue if you have stock reeds.

Check these first

Fuel vent valve
Old crusty fuel lines
Fuel selector switch
Fuel filter gunked up
Ignition

Check/do these if those don’t work

Carb rebuild
Exhaust leak (last) - run the ski without the cover on and if it runs fine, possible exhaust leak.

I appreciate all the help, I’ll run through these this weekend and see if I can trace it down. I’m hoping it is the fuel vent and that would make sense to me on why it runs so well initially. Fingers crossed

I'm betting your fuel filter is clogged. Don't just visually inspect it..
