We had a guy here that had beached a SN so many times it basically sanded his hull pretty thin and a hard water landing blew a hole in the bottom. Now he was not known for being gentle with thngs, so it may have had some issues before as well. I saw it, and it wasn't very thick at all.

The bottoms of pretty much all jetskis typically look like chit. That's normal.
Some people keep them looking pristine, but that's not the norm.
Unless you see cracks, daylight, pavement, or very very obvious thin spots then you got nothing to worry about. I have yet to see a bottom that has been "worn out". What Cannibal mentioned is a pretty old hull with lots of use.

Deep gouges (like 1/8") or seeing light through the hull would be an indication. If someone gouged, sanded, gouged, sanded, and over time it became uniformly smooth, probably not, unless you could see light. Hull might glow some if it's dark out and you put a bright light in it, but if it looks like a jack-o-lantern it might be getting too thin.

What about an fx-1 i can see light through the bottom of mine in some spots, but thats because it wasn't smc chit.

The Blaster is the same way. In some spots you can see daylight through the bottom. I think if there really is a problem, it will be pretty obvious.

Ya thats because its a little different material. All the FX1's I have seen were like this
