You are wrong about the high current draw,my analog MSD draws way more current than my Westcoast dual TL.I rarely even charge the battery on that boat.

They don't exist,my ignition is a total phantom, you can't even see it when you look at my boat, thats mostly because it doesn't exist on the normal plane of reality much the same as Waterhawk..

I mean I thought the brainless TL systems never existed.

terry, none of the stuff we do to these things is "normal".

:scratchchin: Interesting; are there any old systems with a set of points and a condenser coil.

not that I'm aware off, but with enough tinkering, you might be able set one up that way. most of those type of setups are on 4-stroke configurations, i/e, a lawnmower, certain cars engines, etc...

it is the kv set up but i removed the stop module and replaced it w/ a bosch relay. is the stock rev limit in the coil pack or that module?

there is no rev limiter built into the coils.
as far as the module goes, it's just a relay telling the coil when to fire. no rev limter.

that "auto cut-off" switch in the KV setup is just a relay to kill the engine when you press the putton, so you don't have to hold the button down until the engine stops.
