first off is customizing my own pole bracket. rrp blowsion and atp etc. will all fit but i had an xft bracket on my superjet and i really liked how the bolts were recessed in the side brackets but it was too big to fit and the base would not work to be just modified.
so set out to see if i could some how adapt it

1) started out with a 1\4 inch piece of aluminum cut down to size and drilled holes to accommodate side brackets

2) once i got that down i traced breather tube location on under side to get location of holes
and started to core out the holes on the drill press

3) testing before second core

4) trace and cut to suit 1/8 aluminum under side retaining piece and core to match

5) done except paint

6) found some industrial grade high gloss paint that can be used in marine applications for free so
doing a couple coats

7) finished pole bracket

im driving to my parents in Florida in march getting holds shipped there so holds will be going in mid/end of march
Do you have any pics of what they look like yet? I've been anxious to see what they look like! I had a set of the traditional brawler holds that I was going to mod to fit in my SN but i changed my mind. Too much modding to fit in a sj haha.
But anyways, I've always liked the brawler hull since it came out. There's something so intriguing about them..And that has to be the sweetest looking one out there. That paint job is amazing.
Can't wait to see it finished!!
What will be your powerplant?

Oh yeah, with a lighter hull that motor is going to feel completely different! How light is that hull?

hull is a little bit heavier lay up i think it was something like 90 turfed and hood but really cant tell the difference from my buddies lighter brawler.
Oh also have a carbon hood being made for it do that will drop it down

Duuude that's still pretty light compared to an SJ. if you think about it as a power to weight ratio difference, you'll realize it'll make a huge performance difference in itself.

Yup, you're right. It's different, it doesn't look like a copy.
Looks like the holds will be a fairly easy install, almost like traditional.

my bro modded rrps(before these were out) to fit his and he had to fully foam and reshape the side rails cut make the dropdown in a hull huge project.
with these your right will pretty much be like a regular and easy foothold install
