I'd prolly try and rubber tippair blower and get some compressed air in front of it. If it's got corrosion maybe try an ultra sonic parts cleaning tank.... Good luck
Hurray! Lots of fiddling and poking around in main outlet hole with picks but in the end a reluctant resort to carefully 'dremeling' the bit from the screw hole did the trick. I used a diamond coated cone bit with same angle and size as the needle head. In the attached picture it has lost its tip but it was sharp and pointy. I found a piece of the needle tip of which the inside is visibly 'dremeled' from inside out until its walls gave way. I wouldn't recommend this approach until you're ready to throw the carb in the dump and everything else has failed.
