Super Jet Building Stroker motor 10 MM

This is my first day to this site... So hello everyone, I was wondering who all of you have stroker motors, my stroker crankshaft showed up TODAY :) I have 760 cases and cylinders I am going to use, my question is should I do much porting? or leave cylinders stock? should I get the big bore sleeves?what size carbs are people running? I am building this ski for strickly bottom end, mid and topend power would be nice but i'm not racing i'm using this for flatwater, (want to do backflips) I do have a factory mod pipe I will be installing with girdled head, I probley don't want to get to crazy on the compression I want this to be a fairly reliable ski, any help of what you people have already done to help me get this ski on the water within a week or so and any ADVICE would be sweet!!

have you done any research on what you are trying to do here? if you just think you can buy a 10mm stroker crank and throw it at a 760 motor and do backflips, you are in for a rude awakening! your goals are unrealistic.

that 10mm crank was designed for AM cylinders like Dasa, xscream or true performance .
I never heard of anyone using a 10mm on a stock based cylinder

I have a 62t non pv 4mil and if anything idle flips are challenging. Lol do i have to say this in every thread. Bigger isn't always better. It only takes 2" to hit the G spot! If you know what I mean.

I think your in way over your head. I have a 6mil 62T/61X running a head spacer and it's a less than ideal set-up. Not a fan of the spacer. I don't know of anyway to run a 10mil unless your running an aftermarket top end as mentioned before. BTW where in Utah are you?

to answer the OP question a little better. the crank cases will need a lot of clearance, porting and disaster plate, dont think you can use the cyl, but even if you can you will need to raise the cyl by 10mm. custom head and/or domes. its not a bolt together mod, takes someone with a lot of engine building/porting experience to make the whole package work together. if you want to go 10mm stroked i would email tricky

You are in way over your head I would sell the crank and call up someone like Jetworks to build you an oem cylinder based motor

that new jetworks 900 looks like a winner.... and he'll even send you carbs after you give him your cresit card number. its a stroked/superbore but i believe its 4mm/5mm. thats probably max stroke you'll get out of stock cylinders.

Seriously though, Call Zach at Powerhouse Performance, or Art at Jetworks Or Eric at True performance. You can't simply bolt all these components together, and the 760 cylinder is not ideal for low end power without machine work to lower port timing, etc. All the above guys know their stuff, and can build a rippin, reliable motor setup.

Sure w a oem cylinder plus base and head spacer w custom cut pistons. There might be a reason no ones doing that.
