When Eli had it for sale last year, nothing has changed, never ran it, got an extra set of domes and it sat on the shelf.

This has “bridged-port” exhaust that makes wicked power over a standard exhaust port. (Will post pics)

1200cc. New in 2015. Cast cases and cylinder. 14.5mm stroker. 96mm bore. ADR Rods and bearings new as of last season, still silky smooth. Original top end. Religiously maintained. No scoring you can feel on the cylinders. Some scoring on Pistons from previous crank failure. Domes are cherry. Ported by Ed Edward Brazina of Full Spectrum. Exhaust manifold matched to cylinder and fully polished. Scary power when tuned properly. Comes with Bun exhaust manifold and intake manilfolds, 2 new sleeves, 4 new piston kits, 2 extra domes, 20 intake gaskets, 5 dome o ring kits, 9 base gaskets for 220 psi, New reed petals. Also comes with bun freestyle lightweight couplers. Ready to ship today. Engine weighs 67 pounds as pictured. Very light 1200. $8500 for everything OBO

That’s an interesting cyl. Whoever bought this needs to look into drilling oiling holes into the piston(s) for that exhaust bridge. About 3x 3/32” holes will do if it hasn’t already been done. This will substantially increase life expectancy. Also bridge relief is a good idea with each additional bore. Common in my ‘other’ 2-stroke world where these bridges are on almost every engine.

Here’s one. This is a single 420cc Leckich cylinder once used in Stadium Superlite racing circa 1985.

We call the exhaust ports cat-eyed. Check out the auxiliary intakes below the transfers on this one. Non-pv motor.

With the Able, if you don't do the bridge correctly you will have issues. Zero, if you look at some of the JS 440 superstock cylinders of the top experts and pro's, you'd see the same thing. It worked but a race engine is just that, race/rebuild in short amount of time.

Make sure you have more clearance at the bridge than you do in the bore! That area will heat up and be tighter than the rest of bore. Yes piling holes help but additional relief is needed
