buying 2 superjets please help

I am about to make a trip out to OK to buy a couple of superjets. Its a great buy and I was just curious about what I should look out for. Also he told me that one of them has wet foam, what does that entail? Final there is an issue with a seal that causes a leak by the exhaust manifold any advice?

here is exactly what he said "one was leaking water the guy said. i already found that problem it was the rubber that goes around the exaust manifold to the pipe has a split in the seam" Please help...thanks

I would advise you use the search function on wet foam.

It means the floatation foam in the back is waterlogged and the ski is heavy.
Ride it as is, or cut it open, defoam, refoam, glass it back up, put new mats on it.

As for the exhaust, stock exhausts can be had for next to nothing.

Congrates with the new purchases. The whole new foaming thing seems like a pain - but with the help of the X - you shouldn't have too many problems you can't sort out.

As for the Pipe. I have a brand new complete exhaust system from an 07 SJ. Never used as it was taken off my ski before it was fired up. PM me and let me know if your interested.:fing02:

stock exhaust are a plenty. i think i have 4 or 5 for 650 's and 701's.

i just did a build up on my sq. cut out the entire foot tray bottom and sides. defoamed, pulled all tubes except drive shaft tube. re installed all tubes and sealed them up.

put in footholds if you are going to refoam. the defoaming sucks, glassing sucks, refoaming not as bad as i thought it would be. it is not hard just time consuming. kawtipper and i did ours together and it wasn't too hard at all. a little patience goes a long way.
