SXR Carb adjustment - SXR only with dry pipe

Hi guys

Does any of you know som adjustment for stock carbs with dry pipe.

The ski is totally stock now.

Does it need new injectors or is a adjustment on the high an low ok?

You will need to re jet with the dry pipe. Factory pipes web site should have the jetting specs

To be honest, Korn. When I switched from wetpipe to drypipe, I felt no loss in bottom end but gain a lot of top end.

You lose no low end with a dry pipe unless you dont have it tuned correctly...which would go for any ski. You gain everywhere with the dry pipe - especially if you throw in some water injection.

This is copied from the Factory Pipe 800 Dry pipe instructions -

CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENTS

Your specific adjustments may vary depending on engine modifications, fuel, altitude and other
variables. Please consult a qualified technician if you are not familiar with tuning your
carburetors. No jetting recommendations are given for a limited or superstock applications as we
cannot anticipate all the possible combinations and setups. Removing the choke plates can cause
the engine to run lean, and engine damage can occur.

Main jet: 152.5 front, 152.5 rear
Pilot Jet: 80
High-speed screw: 1/2 turn out from closed
Low speeds screw: 1.0 turn out from closed
Needle: Stock
Spring: Stock
Note: Stock compression & timing
Remove the two rubber trumpets from the air box
