Carb Advice Needed

Im helping a friend of mine with his build and Im not sure what spring/ jets to use.
He has mod B pipe, light exhuast porting, bore to 82.5, and its a single carb 6m6. As of now it has stock compresion, but we are looking for a girdled head and would like to run 185psi.

Get yourself a range of springs, and start low. If you are using a stock flame arrestor, you'd probably want to start a bit higher. Try around 20psi with prok's and 25psi with stock arrestor.

All setups are different, so change it out and tune the bottom end to suit. If it's not crisp, and seamless, change it out and have another go.

I would start out with 130 H, 120 low, 1.5 needle valve (stock) and a 95 gram spring. This should be fine and on the rich side... Set low speed screw out 2-1/4 turns, set high screw 1 turn out...
