Ill give yall a fast run down here ive been fighting this for a few mo now and im going nuts. I built this blaster the first of the yr and its never been 100%. I have a 61x single 44, coffman sizzler pipe, 180 psi comp, riva cdi, rear water box from a raider and thats it for motor mods. The problem im having is very inconsistent it acts like it is starving for fuel most of the time. Low end you will be riding and the ski will just die out alot and if you try to make a top end run after like 10 sec it will die out but every now and than it runs good. Mid range is not to bad and very reponsive as long as your not wide open or not under a big load. At this point ive changed the coil and even changed the carb body I had the 701 44 I just put a 650 44 but I used all the same gaskets and stuff though. Btw which of the two carbs are better ive seen threads here before on the 3 hole and 4 hole low speed side. My jetting is 145H 125L 95gram and it still wont run good unless my screws are like 3 and 4 turns out ive tryed bigger jets and no big change. Even though I just rebuilt the carb when I built the ski im thinking that it needs to be my next step I guess or maybe the cdi or stator is going bad? At this point any thought would be great sorry for a long post just trying to give as much info as I can.
