SX/SXi/SXi Pro Carb Questions.

just wondering maby some one can lend me a hand with some general carb questions. right now i have a single 38mm cdkII on my 750 SX. if i were to either swich to a larger carb or do a dual carb set up would the jet sizes be different from what i am running now? i know the correct sizes for the carb that i am currently useing but not to sure on how it works with useing larger carbs or useing dual carbs.

Yes, they would very likely be different sizes. If you ran dual carbs you would obviously need a different intake. If you did decide to go that route...the best way to go about finding what jets you need is first find out what they used on the dual-carb versions stock and then go from there

Group K has alot of info on the 38 dual set up. Tuning specs and everthing. Helped me alot when setting up mine.

so generaly speaking if i were to use larger carbs the jets would have to be greater or less than what i am currently useing?

I would think so??? I mean, it doesn't make sense why TWO carbs for one engine would use the EXACT same jets as ONE carb for one engine.

ok so a friend of mine helped me out nd we got my jetting set. now for some reson i am haveing trouble finding the right flame arrestor adaptors 44mm keihin. any ideas on some sites ware i may find what im looking for.
