170 is too big. Your settings should be more like this.

main jet 145
pilot jet 120
High speed screw 1 1/2 turns out
Low speed 2 1/2 turns out
Needle and seat stock.
Spring 95 gram

If thats a single 44 SBN that is a majorly oversized main jet. You most likely have a fuel delivery issue of some sort and/or air leak that's causing you to need such a large main.

170 c'est trop gros. Vos paramètres devraient être plus comme ça.

jet pilote 120
Vis haute vitesse 1 1/2 tours
Basse vitesse 2 1/2 s'avère
Stock d'aiguille et de siège.
Printemps 95 grammes

I hate to say it but the engine needs whatever jet that it needs, case in point these last two 650SX's I did first one needed a 95 pilot jet to run properly, no it didn't have an air leak, I pressure tested it , the second one has a 100 pilot in it right now, I may have to come back down to a 98 or 95 but I doubt it , the point is both engines are stock other than a choke delete and K&N flame arrestors, stock pilot jet is a 75

A 170 could be oversized, maybe. I had a high port 701 that was still over 1 turn out with a 170 main. Whats most important is that you can find peak rpm before the top adjuster is completely closed. Its not difficult but will take a few tries. Thats IF you know how the engine sounds and responds between being too rich and too lean.. Its a skillset that is a little different than just installing parts.
