Carb tuning question

When tuning a carb (for an fx1, sbn 44 i think), which way do you turn the screws to make it leaner? I have a 550sx and I turn the screws to the right to lean them, will this be the same for the sbn?

Yes, they are a fuel adjust screw, (not air bleed), so clockwise to lean out, counter clockwise to richen fuel/air mixture.
