carbon reeds ?

I got these reed with the motor i bought.. there carbon tech reeds for a 62t the very tip of the corners are a bit frayed... they still seal great it seems... but i know nothing about reeds or carbon reeds ... here are pics can anyone tell me if they are good?

they would still probably work fine but id start to look into getting new ones. its hard to tell from the angle of the pic but can you see through the reed where its frayed? if not then it still must seal which is good. but you wouldnt want ne of the reed to brake off and go into your motor

you cant see through.... i checked both and you cant see any light if you look through the back....

well i think they are alright for now but look into getting some new ones when you can
