Carbs little Red Thingy

Hi guys, just pulled my 650sx out of winter storage, put new fuel lines on and ran her and there is fuel leaking out of this red nipple on the carb, that and the slightly leaking intake mani are what caused the nastiest engine compartment around... What is this thing and what is the approach i should do to that Red Little Thingy?



(sorry i tried my best to look for some posts about this thing on the carb and had no luck)

Thats an old oil injection port! Just go to your local auto parts store and ask for a block off cap for an 1/8” nipple
Now if you want to entertain the parts guy at the store and refer to it as a little red thingy? Im sure you will make his day! Have fun!
