Hi
i found on the forum that there is only two product to use!
Devcon alu liquid
And jbweld original

devcon seem to shrink and jbweld weld og doesnt seem to withstand fuel!

what about jbweld marine does anyone use it? Its says resist to chemical !

is it the same as jbweld og 75FD74B3-E391-48B5-AF9A-4D6460F7372B.jpeg

I have no idea. I think the jb marine may be good if it says it stands up to fuel. I used the plane in weld. If you want the best adhesive bead blast with 36to80 grit and wash it with acetone. Prep is most important.

You could also just use a good epoxy with filler in(like west system 404). im pretty sure Xscream uses normal epoxy with filler material for case filling. And not Aluminium epoxy.

Just finished my superchicken rebuilt and have 404 left !
Do you know which west system hardener should use ?

Yeah i know what 404 is ! Just dont know which resin hardener to use it goes from 206 to 209
I think slower gonna be best like 206!7CDDFDC8-87ED-4830-8004-154C5FEBA6A9.png

dosent matter, from that chart only diffrence is the hardner. not the resin :)
Ive used WS 105/206 with good resulsts and i have also used easy composites resin with slow and fast hardner mixed with 404 with equally good results :)
