so if one had to come up with around 4k and wanted cash in about 3-6 days whats is the best method tried and true.

1. go to bank with credit card and do a 19% cash advance with fees.

2. paypal your self using credit card. with a premier account with no withdraw fees and either request a check or back transfer. i belive its free to send and 1.9% to recive cc payments and nothing to withdraw unless its a check.

3.put money in an online poker site or somthing and then withdraw-kinda scetchy

its to pay down my loan-future ski stuff-cheaper than personal loans

will this work or is there a better way. assuming my cc is around 7.25-12.25 apr on purchaces

Some credit card companies have checks they will give you that withdraw from your credit card... I dont know if they work like a cash advance or a purchase however... Call and find out. If they do it, right a check to your self and cash it.

if you can find a 0% transfer, watch out for a transaction fee. 3% and up are common.

and don't miss a single payment, or you'll end up getting screwed.

Not missing a payment is kind of a given, is it not?

Yes, 3% is common, but usually the fees are capped at a certain amount.

In most cases, the combined costs of this are far cheaper than any loan shark loan or cc cash advance.

I'm going to go out on a limb here---you don't have the money, so you don't do it?

You're trying to play a shell game, why can't you just get a loan from your bank?

those courtesy checks are a cash advance and the balance transfers are 0% for 12 months but no way of getting cash out.

Wrong.

You BT to your debit card number (or even bank account number and routing number).

It works. It's not "technically" cash.

I think he can get a loan or already has a loan, but wants the 0% on a credit card offer.

I was waiting to read a Dave Ramsey style comment.

I would say sell your car, lawnmower, motorcycle, computer or something to come up with the money. Other than that just get it from a bank the only trusted way in my opinion.

I'm seeing a lot of those offers, and they've removed the cap (used to be about $75) or doubled the max to $150

most companies still consider it a cash advance though - and subject to different terms than a regular "purchase"

Paypal, I dont know if you can just add funds to your account with a CC or if you have to be paying some one money, And I think they charge 3-4% to the seller on CC Purchases...

If you figure it out let me know so I can get a 0% interest card and max it out into a High yield savings account, and then pay it back when the 0% offer runs up And keep what I make on interest. :) Just a idea
