Other Charity build for the U.S.A. Military! -poll!

Hey-

First off, back story-
My best friend for about 15 years got a call 24 hours ago, stating he was leaving Sunday(This Sunday) for the marines.
We were right in the process of building a ski for him, but now since he is leaving, there is no build being done, he had no idea the build was being done for him, and now, since he is leaving, I though it would be a good idea to do a build for the Military.

I am planning to donate all the profits to a charity of choice that revolves around the return of troops, or aide to troops overseas.

This ski will be built, fully painted professionally, with a paint job which revolves around patriotism, and the branches of the United States Military.
And I plan to make this all public, in order to raise the most possible money for the cause.

The question at hand now, is which ski to build, a superjet,or Blaster? Which do you guys believe would raise the most money for this

I am open to all ideas on this, and hope to get some parts donated, working on a build sheet right now for this, I believe I have 90% of the needed parts for this build already, just missing some odds and ends. All profits are being donated.

Throw out your ideas!

Thanks!

^I am still looking into which specific area to donate all proceeds to, I am sitting down with a family friend today who aids when soldiers return home, because many come back homeless believe it or not.

Once the build is done, It will be auctioned off, and every penny of the profits will be donated.

Does anyone on here have a charity that they support related to our troops? If someone on here already does a deal of work with a specific charity, I am more then happy to support that.

Getting all the ducks in line now, and then will be making a thread asking for any donations or such.

I am thinking also of contacting the local news, to get more publicity for it, in hopes to raise the bar even further.

Just need to decide on a starting point, as in which ski to start this with, So I can get everything in the works.

Superjet IMO. Between the X and PWC yesterday you should have plenty of intrest.
Make sure you are squared away on the legality of your selling method. A buddy of mine wanted to raffle off his truck (vs. selling it out right) and ran into some snags. Its different I know, but still.

If it were me, i'd have it wrapped vs custom paint. Easier on your budget, which equals more money for your charity.

Cool idea...

This is a program I support and donate to.
The other big non profit is OUTWARD BOUND http://www.outwardbound.org/veteran-adventures/outward-bound-for-veterans/
I personally have gone with Outward Bound on a trip to Colorado after returning from OEF. They have a great group of people working there to help give returning soldiers a chance to relax and reflect on their experiences and troubles that they might be having.
