I bought this off a guy over on PWCToday and thought I'd share. This is one of the cheapest ways to refurbish a broken stop/start switch.

Rather than buying an entire replacement switch assembly, you can purchase just the harness, complete with switches.

The Yamaha part number for the Superjet harness is EW2-68311-01 and it retails for around $60.

What if all I need is a green button to be whole again?

Edit: I have been fixing mine for a while with assorted springs and such. This is cool.

I have a box with several start/stops in it so this was a pefect way for me to get a working spare again. I looked into rebuilding them at one time but there are a couple very important and very hard to find terminals inside the lanyard switch that makes it near impossible.

This post is a fantastic tip because the newer fiche does not list the harness/switches separately. Save $75 if you just need the switches.
The "Switch Box Assy EW2-68310-04-00 $145.17" on the 1990 fiche and 2011 fiche are the same (1990 was superseded).

If you need just a green button: Start Button Comp FK7-68313-02-00 $7.05
If you need just a red button: Stop Button Comp FK7-68312-02-00 $8.01
