Super Jet Cleaning and restoring jetski

Any suggestions for how to clean and restore a jetski. I bought a 96 superjet that I want to clean up. I am thinking new fuel lines, water lines, and a good cleaning, but am wondering what else people have done that works/looks awesome.

Cover anything important with baggies then use a pressure washer sparingly and at low pressure to clean the engine bay. Tip ski sideways or use a vac to suck nastiness out then repeat. Again, be selective what you spray.

Dawn dishwashing liquid and hot water in the bilge area, then go beat on it and let the stock bilge dump toxic sludge into the lake you're riding in.
