Cold Fusion Flywheel Cover Leak - Old Version (Small O-ring)

Anybody have issues with the older version of the Cold Fusion flywheel cover leaking? I replaced with the correct size o-ring cord stock from JM but there's barely any squish to it and I after pulling the cover after a month it looks like the o-ring wasn't sealing particularly well. It seems like the newer covers run a larger o ring, is that why?

Thinking about just upgrading to a new one with a bigger seal, any difference between the JM one and the newer Cold Fusion?

or get a slighly larger oring. Have yours machined for the larger size. or add a gasket.
