Cold fusion turn plate rubbing

Location
Ontario
Just installed ada 0deg bars and a cold fusion turn plate and i am having some rubbing issues. First off, my steering cable is super tight and there is resistance when at about 90% full left lock.

Second issue is the steering cable/bar runs on the chin pad mounts on the right side when turning hard right.

Both of these issues could be resolved but the stock threaded bolt on the end of the steering cable is pretty long and bangs into the mouthing area on the pole.

Just wondering if anyone has any way to change out the head/connector on the steering cable or any other ideas from anyone who has the cold fusion plate

Sounds like you either have a bad cable or the ball is out to far.

As far as rubbing the stock chin pad, well, this is just one of those things that happes. you could move the ball in a little and see if that helps or grind the plastic some.

by ball so you mean the little screw at the end of the cable? if so, i can’t move it in because it then bangs on the pole because the screw is too long when in the cold fusion plate. It only bangs when turning right. the one pic shows it sticking out

Add washers between steering plate and ball end so the threaded end doesn’t hit the pole when turned to the right. You may also need to grind the plastic On the chin pad to clearence the cable end
