My superjet 701 is reading 70psi in one cylinder and 130-140 in the other cylinder. Can anyone tell me what needs to be replaced or what this means,,thanks

Means you have a trashed cylinder. Hopefully it will just need new rings. You need to pull the head off and look inside. If the walls of the cylinder are nice and smooth, you may need to just hone it and put new rings on.
Odds are it is something more catestrophic and may need to be overbored and new pistons.

so we took off the head and the cylinder with 140psi hows blackish carbon looking stuff on top of it and the one that had 70psi was more brown around the edges and alot dryier..it looks like the bad one is not getting any oil or something..They guy who looked at it before we took it apart said that it could have been the head gasket but looking at that it it seems fine..where do i go from here?

i think your gonna have to take some pics. typing a description and seeing it in a pic are 2 different things. im sure we could help you out better if you took some.

take pics of the cylinders, the head. the sparkplugs. this will give us an idea how it ran.

and was it running like this?

I'm guessing you have a stock head. if so, I think you have a blown head gasket and are getting water in the cyl. look for a missing or thin spot on your head gasket. replace the head gasket and recheck the compression.

The one that is more brown is the cylinder reading 70 psi and the one with the black on top is reading normal

there are 3 pics i think the link will work fine im new with doing this picture thing

the "brown" one looks rusty... which I would think is what deman said... blown head gasket letting water into the cylinder...
