Corey's Roundnose summer build

Well. since i dont do anything normal, im rebuilding my new RN in the middle of summer. Its not in running conditon so i figure, why not? I ride almost all winter and i will miss the warm weather but i need this boat done by nationals so thats the deadline.
Plans are as follows...

Hull
Reinforce since in learning to roll now
Refoam
XFT footholds or maybe i'll go back to WCF
Front exhaust
1, maybe 2 x-metal scuppers
Shorten stock pole by 4inches and run that till it breaks(x-metal once it goes)
Im leaving the stock hood for now. This winter I gonna order a wamiltons one.

Motor
62T/61x motor. As it is right now it needs a bore so i will go up a size or 2.
Dual 38's
B-pipe
ADA head w/ 35cc domes
Dual Cooling
Lightned flywheel

Pump
12/17 scat prop
Maybe bored nozzle

I think thats it for now. I will try to keep it up to date and not slack off on posting new pics and such.:woot:

Here is the ski as i got it on saturday. It was complete but was not running and the ebox was open and in rough shape.

I went ahead and pulled the motor out and everything else in the hull and the pump. The pump was in tough shape too.

xft is kind of like revs with enclosure but much nicer imo, also made with carbon and preturfed.. .wcf are like the rickters.

-Today I went to work on cleaning out the hull because it was quite gross. I found the biggest bucket i could, grabbed every chemical i though would help get all the grime and oil stuff off, dumped a bunch in the bucket with some hot water and went to work.

-After i finished getting all the gas out and cleaning the hull i went to work on yanking all the turf out. Not to big of a deal im just glad the purple is slowly disappearing.

Well i may get it running again. Im parting it out though. GOnna post a thread in the For sale area tonight.

:bs2:No way! That thing was not running. The ebox was split in half sitting in the hull with wires hanging everywhere. I pressed the start and nothing happened. IT needs a rebuild anyway.

The guy I got it from was some kind of fool - he said "I listed it at a 10 day auction, so my friend could get the e-box figured out before the auction ended." Anyways, the motor seemed strong when the solenoid was jumped, I didn't get a chance to look into it further, Corey said "I need a RN now!"

Good luck building it up - is Dave coming to pick up the Square or what? I need some $$ toward other projects........................ :biggthumpup:

HE bailed because of there not being a title?!? Im parting it out now and i got like $500 so far. I'll see if i can get to morrison this weekend. Kinda got screwed here cause know im out like $1800. Need a 61x motor?

Sooooon. But i need to pay kurt back for the ski before i go spending all sorts of cash on it. It will be AUG before im ready to DO WORK!

Cool maybe by then I will be good enough to really need holds. Probably not but a good goal. Good luck and get some money, you need to ride between now and August.
