cracked sleeve, is this workable?

you could use a diegrider and cut that portion out like some engine builders do when porting, etc.

if you have the option to get your money back, id say go for it.

I've seen big bore cylinders that have had both the intake and exhaust sleeves cut off, because they get thin @ 84mm.... better to get rid of them than risk cracking them off.

It will probably cut down on your piston life, but who knows how much. Probably not much if you're not racing.

i run my 84 mil ones at full length
