hey guys, i'm trying to get an idea of how difficult it is to replace the front and rear crankshaft bearings.
The front crankshaft seal failed on a buddy's 701. while replacing it we noticed the black plastic race on the front bearing was cracked and we're not gonna reassemble as it is. (not sure how this even happened!!)
the machine shops around here are OK but not any good any kind of precision work. is this a simple matter of pulling the old bearings off and pressing new ones all the way on? or is there more to it?
