Recently done a RN pole conversion on my square.....

See pic for the problem... the pole is off centre at the turnplate end... have not ridden yet but can see this altering body position.... it rubs hard up against the hood...

Any solutions??

Hammer....j/k

To get it straight, gotta take that bracket off and fill in those holes and drill new ones. Make the bracket sit crooked so the pole will sit straight.

Looks like a hazzard bracket. Did the same swap 2 months ago. Loosen the bracket bolts enough to move the bracket around so that the pole lands correctly, worst case you will need to elongate the holes.

x2 Elongate the holes and make sure you have a decent size backing plate not just washers on the underside. Might want to just open the bracket holes up the next next size that should give you plenty of adjustment. 1/32 inch at the bracket is going to give you a ton of adjustment at the turn plate.

A fellow member warned me of this when I was getting ready to shorten my pole. It was great advise.

Nothing is square. Not the hull, not the bracket, not the pole. Cut it, epoxy it, but don't rivet it. B4 epoxy can set up, mount it on the ski, in the bracket, with the bolt. Straighten as needed. Let it lay there til set up. Drill & rivet the next day.

I don't know if you want your pole shorter, but not doing this may be how it happened in the first place.

Pole is shortened, looked square on the tools before epoxying back into end... will elongate bracket mount holes in hull... this was my initial thought but wondered if it may be something else causing the problem.. come to think of it my old square pole rubbed slightly on the same side too...

It is a Hazard bracket... what an awesome piece of kit.. was as simple as bolting any pole to its matching stock bracket.... well mapped out and well made.. would recommend to any square rider wanting to go down the rn pole route.

Speaking as someone who has done this swap on at least 3 skis... you'll be fine. Try your hardest to get the pole square with the bottom piece. Whatever misalignment is left, you can fix by manipulating the position of the bracket. Trust me, 1/8" of movement at the pole bracket equals 1/2" of movement at the top of the pole. Like I said, I have done this swap on 3 skis....
