Custom/Hybrid custom trailor dimensions

i just got a trailor and i was trying to figure out how far apart the rails need to be and, is it ok to use 2x6 boards instead of 2x4's thanks for info

Usually 12" centers, 2x6 works as well. I like the 2x4's though because they're a little lower easier for loading and unloading

if i were you id weld some L brackets on those cross bars
thats how my trailer is set up and it works well
2x4 work just fine
have you figured out your bow stop or way to secure the ski's down

yeah ill take some pics when i get done with it... im supposed to be working on it in a couple hours, at least getting started. but i may just put a floor back in it and carpeting the bottom with no rails... not sure yet tho
