Cutting back 13/17 concord

Need some advise on cutting back 13/17 concord for superjet.

There is a washer at the back or the prop.....do i still use it or junk it?

Can i machine the 3mm of the shaft shoulder to set the prop back?? or do you have to machine the 3mm or the prop face that butts up against the shaft shoulder?

Either way the prop is being moved 3mm back towards the pump.

Do i junk the washer and cut back 3mm?? or keep washer and cut back 3mm.?

Went ahead and machined 3mm of the prop face that butts up against the shaft shoulder......was only 15 min job....

Need to know if i have to leave out the O.E.M washer thats located behind the prop??????

The oem washer measures 2mm between the mating faces......

Someone on here must know what to do with this washer??? a lot of guys on this forum are using 13/17 cutback 3mm.

Wow.... this easy mod makes sooo much difference to hook up....after riding for an hour or two i couldnt beleive how much sharper the ski felt when hitting the throttle.....

Still using the 2mm OEM washer behind the prop......will have to clear a part of the pump to be able to junk the washer and hopefully be set back total of 5mm.
