D cut rideplate

hi everyone!
just show you a mod that i did to my buddys(brett) srx rideplate. after hearing about this mod it was definetly something that the sxr needed for freeriding. although noone could give any real dimensions for this mod i came up with something that went with what little info we recieved.
cut flush to the back of the ski with a 3" radius offset out 1". .200" rad on the corners. looks awesome and from what brett said it is a world of difference. it made it jumpable. cavitation was increased slightly, but thats a non issue. i also did it to the square (3"rad offset .5" out) made a diff but not as much as i was expecting. just seemed like it didnt plane out as fast.

I would cut it now, better to get used to it now, rather than have to get used to the feel all over again later. Just my $.02

Kudos to those cutting with the dremel.. My stock was a tough cut with a sawzall and angle grinder.. the oxy/acet torch put it in its place real quick..

The "D" cut works great, hardly notice the light front until you ready to use it......do it!!! 04' SXR

I noticed it doesn't get up on a plane as quick from a deep water start.
