Freestyle dap weldwood contact cement dry time

I just turfed in my footholds and rails, yesterday. How long should I wait before riding? I used dap weldwood gel contact cement. Thanks

I wait between 24 and 48 hours but 24 is usually sufficient

well the turf has stayed in place for 24 hours. so i guess i did it right... although the rail turf cured a little too long (it took longer than i thought to apply, should have done one side at a time). but the rail turf did stick

There is like 10 threads on this. Technically it should be good to go when you stick it but I would wait 24 hours....

Really??? i love turfing. i hate removing old turf and prepping for turf, but the turfing part is fun IMO.

One thing I'd like to add is always use fresh cement. I live in a very dry climate and using the non freshie has proven bad long term stick. But with fresh stuff as others have said, after it's stuck you are good.

If it is "DRY" when you stick it, you are good.. It's not coming off without anger and hatred.. As long as you prep right you are good to go...
