Dash lights not coming on

Location

97 Waveventure, my 1st ski & went in blind on restoring it. I currently have it wired up (temporarily) all wires seemed evident by color where they went except 2 green coming from the stator . I was told it didn’t matter which green was plugged into each green. The engine cranks, but not one light on the dash comes on. Any advise what to look into?

Unless you know way more about electronics than most of us here no , try to find another gauge and install it.

Electronics are like light bulbs , they work till one day when you flip the switch and it doesn't come on, I can't tell you why a MPEM , CDI or gauge or light bulb fails ,I know the basics about what capacitors, diodes, resistors , transistors and thyristors and potentiometers do, that's it though, all I can tell you is that it did.

I had assumed when you said the engine cranks that you had actually cranked the ski up , stupid mistake on my part I suppose.

Just to pass on some info. I had hooked up the battery to the red & black on the 4 pin connector on back of dash. I was told I had to add the green wire to the positive & it worked. Dash lights upIMG_0021.jpeg
