Tech info:

First Jetski Vid with the new HD camera and first time using a mono-pod. (Great Idea Drew)...First time also using new Pinnacle 15 Ultimate software.

I'm still learning! I chopped off a lot of heads using the monopod...need practice filming with it...the zoom is slower on this camera, so I couldn't back off as quick as I am used too...I also need to shut off the image stabilization when I'm using the tripod...The lense floats in gel and you can see it wobbling when I'm zoomed in (look at the girl in the title shot)....also when I move the pod, the camera kinda keeps goin.......still workin on the best HD settings that I can still edit quickly with.....This was about 400 clips, so it started to slow down at the end and I had to stop editing (could've used a couple more edits).

Anyways...I think the footage will get better with time and experience, but I like the new cam now that I see what it can do. Lookin forward to using it again in Virginia Beach in April and see what I get. Gonna try some new stuff.... I am having a hard time with the idea that I actually have to take care of my equipment because this camera wasn't $30 on ebay! Hope I don't break it or get it wet or full of sand!

It's also nice to have a Hard Drive and super battery where I can film for a couple hours and not worry about running out of film or having a battery die.
