I thought it was going to be why is this pole made out of lead . It's got to weigh as much as some hulls . For what it costs it could easily be made of magnesium .

thats a good point, I think it may actually be filled with lead. the spring really makes a huge difference in offsetting the weight. but getting it installed...jesus h. monkey poop...

l ran into the same bs on a blowsion pole bracket,spring,and rrp pole.Two hours of beating,cutting, and heating up with a torch.lt finally all came together.After reading your thread,it must be rrp! l didn't want to torch,l just want to take and beat with a sledge hammer.......

yep, blosion spring and RRP spring tentioner bracket. I seriously considered chucking it into the river.

Use an FX1 oem spring with the tensioner...it doesn't get an easier, and pole weight (feel) is perfect...
