Depth finder? Did you hit a sandbar or something?

When you ride by a seagull who is standing knee deep in water, you know trouble is afoot.

you don't get that damage by running aground.

I think I'm on my 3rd or 4 nose rebuild. I made a mold after the first one to make rebuilding easier.

It's too bad they outlawed Lawn Darts.

Lol....new sport....Ocean Darts....kinda costly though....

I did a little research on lawn darts a while back and they are not illegal to own or use, but they are illegal to sell. We used an old set camping a couple years back. Fun as hell. We found out really quick why they outlawed them. One of the girls we were with was not so good with the hand eye coordination. She'd let go too late kinda often and send them straight up, and us scrambling.

Was riding the shoals straight out the inlet of Ocean City Maryland. Ive done plenty of flips there and never touched. Even on that high tide day i darted it in. Had to only of been 4or5 ft. The nose wasnt reinforced. That was going to be the winter project. Either way i dont think it would of stopped it, just lessened it. Any one got a new nose? Im guessing that will will have to be cut off and started fresh.

I feel your pain - my home lake has averaged about 5' deep this season, and a good vertical stab will frequently bring up a shovelful of brain-eating, amoeba-laden mud off the bottom.

I think Highrollers customs has a nose rebuild kit in carbon they offer. Looked pretty simple.
