Did a fountain and lost the bottom end - any ideas?

Ski ran better than ever today until I came up from a (ya I know) fountain.
Had some immediate bogging / hesitation which is often the case until the bilge is pumped out, only this time the bottom end never returned.
It bogs until about 1/3 throttle then kicks in close to normal.
No water in the trap,
Reeds are good,
Plugs are dry,
Compression is about 180/170 with cheapo gauge.
Current theory is that water ingestion caused a blown o-ring and loss of compression at the head. I am just surprised that the compression doesn't test out worse with how bad it was riding.
What do you all think?

I just pulled the two diaphragms and didn't see any water in there yet. Is that where you guys were saying to look?
Some liquid poured out as I was removing the carb, it is possible that there was some water up in the pulse line that came out, or it might have been gas from somewhere.

U got water in there!

Get back on NOW and ride hard for the next 30 minutes. The sooner, the better.

Listen to him dude. I just lost my last crank this way. Ingested some water, ski didnt want to start up, so put it on the lift, washed it, didnt flush it since I was going to do it in the morning. Came back in the morning, ski didnt want to crank. Left it for another day to get a new battery. Next day, crank is 100% frozen. HURRY UP AND GET THAT SKI RUNNING!

If that doesn't help, check compression to see if it's even.
Remote chance that you bent a rod (which results in reduced bottom end).
Not trying to scare you, it's just something I'd check to rule it out.

Thanks all.
I reassembled and ran it on the hose for a while today, I think it is O.K. I guess there was just a lot of moisture in the bottom of the crankcase that needed out.

On another note, I have found that I really have to cinch down my intake way past spec to avoid airleaks, this is the same with my old 6m6 cases and now with my new to me 61x setup. Do you all use any sealer or adhesive on your intake gaskets?

I kind of had a problem like this. My problem was intermittenent. My ski would get a bogg or lack of power right off the bottom end, about 1/3 throttle it just had no power. But once you got past that point is seem to run fine. It would mainly happen after a fountain, sub, or landing after a jump. I would run it on a hose, it would run fine. Take it to the lake then it would all happen again. I replaced my CDI and went through my BlackJack carb. It still acted up. Then as I was running it on the trailer I saw a spark off of the spark plug wire by the electrical box. The wire had a small crack in it where it comes out of the box and throwing a spark about an inch and a half to the mounting bot of the box.
So you may want to check your plug wires if you still have issues.

Similar issue. I have a 750sx and whenever I go to fountain it boggs and quits on me after 2 seconds. It's like it chokes, then its a bit rough to start it up and runs like poo for about 5-10 seconds. I opened up the rear part of the hood for air and blocked off the front air vents. Do I need some sort of blanket for the flamearrest?

This problem comes and goes for me - it was bad again on my last ride.
Art Gomez told me that a bad FCV setup could cause the problem. I am going to check my FCV, and probably put a restrictor at the stinger to dry out the water box and see if that helps.

Reeds could've f'd up from water intake.
water in gas?
Well I could've gotten water in gas because the cap got split open but that's been since fixed. I keep thinking water in the carbs but I'm not sure how

I was also thinking this, I have a flow control valve on its way but taking forever
