Differences in SN mid-shafts

Just found out my 92 mid-shaft will not fit my 'new' 94 hull. So, what year range do I need a donor from? Will RN shafts fit?

Also, does anyone know of any other things they changed from 92-94 that I might run into swapping everything over (I mean everything).

whats different about it? I thought they were all the same...

if you just need the shaft then press them out and switch as they are the same. The bearing housings are different between 90-93 and 94-07 (if I remember correctly).

Ya, it's the housing that is different. I only have a mid-shaft from my 92, so I need a replacement. So any housing will work from 94 to 07? Sweet.

I didn't know the components were interchangeable. I thought I'd need the whole assembly. So that's good to know.

when the SN got a 701 the got the 701 style midshaft housing.
