waverunner III 650 engine puked its guts out, found a wetjet 701, can this bolt right in, just have to cut exhaust exit and turn 90 degrees? will the water and black box and throttle,choke cables hook up? I'm sure someone has done this, good car skills limited jetdki skills, although 650 pulled out pretty easy, thanks

You won't see much difference between the 650 and 701 in that ski, they even use the same impeller. I happen to own one of each so yes I do know.

the wetjet is rated at 75 hp while the 650 was 50 hp that should give some difference, the wetjet motor with the different pipe and whatever else they did to it at the time supposedly increased power from a regular 62 to the 75 and if it was a wetjet kraze supposedly it was 85, but who knows if they used the hp #'s liberally to help sales, its been done alot with cars.
