seriously...cant stand helmet cams...aside from watching some moto stuff i cant say ive ever watched more than 15sec of a helmet cam vid...

My other videos are mostly helmet cam, but i dont mind it since theyre edited. (not trying to brag) But the big reason i bought my new camcorder is because was starting to get sick of the go pro, super wide, fisheyed shots. Im still going to use mine, but i will be mixing the shots together.

Its just hard to get someone who knows how to work a camera and understand jet skiing to sit there and watch us ride all day. so thats where the helmet cam helps. On days when im broken, or the ski is broken, i dont mind getting some footage from on shore. just sucks when you work hard on videos and are not in them.

that was jason (yamanube) on the light blue ski. hes a great surf rider and lives a few blocks from the beach but is rarely seen on the water as he is one of the only daytona residents who works on a normal basis .....he'll learn one day that is frowned upon

Im working on another video now, this time with only me in it. haha. Its just frustrating me because i had my friend shoot the video and the footage is terrible. Im never in frame when i do something and im in frame when im not doing anything. I cant use nearly 80% of the footage...

i need to find someone who can use a camera and knows a little about surf riding to get video. Which doesnt seem hard to find, but apparently is. (for free at least).
