Do they make a helmet specifically for water?

I am looking at a Thor force carbon. Dennis Kirk has these listed as a helmet for watercraft, but thor does not. I don't care about the cost, but I do want to get what I pay for, protection, performance and durability being most important. I ride in the ocean mostly. Any info much appreciated. Thanx

i am looking for a helmet too and i think a better choice over a motocross helmet would be a downhill bmx full face helmet. they are smaller and lighter and dont seem like they would take in as much water

One question on the Cascade helmet.. Does the cage come down low enough to protect your mouth/teeth?

Someone once told me I had a purdy mouth (not sure what they meant:icon16: ) and I want to keep it that way. But seriously, I have busted my lip about 4-5 times and I would love to prevent that.

Pro Tec also makes a full face helmet that works great and hold up good in the water, I think it's for BMX

The Bell Bellistic is the best for the money for a BMX fullface, superlight, lots of vents and for $79 its great

I ordered this though, still BMX weight, its not a motocross helmet so it doesnt way a ton when wet. Its quite a bit more than the Bell but I spend $600 on my Arai streetbike lids and $450ish for my dirt lids so I dont mind paying 200 to protect my noggin
