Super Jet Does a stock superjet have enough power to do a nose stab?

Just started working on my L wake and when I hit I cant seem to even to a full 180. Im doing about a 90, let alone a nose stab. Do I have to approach the wave lets say to the right then steer left and hit the throttle? In the surf the ski gets away from me everytime, I cant figure out the technique. I have no power mods, just worx 201, straight bars, free quick steer mod, solas impeller and footholds.

there are a couple real good instructions and instructional videos that are step by step in the "trick how to" section

Also, even my old stock 650sx could nose stab with the 2 hope way, that should give you a bit of insight to what your superjet can do

well i was eager to ride so i went out in the surf alone (i know bad idea but i have no one to ride with and i want to practice) and it was nasty out, probably 5 footers. Anyway I still cant seem to figure out what im doing wrong. I cant get the nose to point down and a few times I end up landing on my side as well as the ski. Hurt my elbows. I feel like im not fully committing but I may not have the technique down either. I have blowsion 0 degree bars, getting back on ski in deep water turns out to be a workout after 10 or so times. Was thinking about getting the v taper bars, what do you think?

Edit: when you guys say you "kiss the gas cap", it seems extremely awkward to be leaning forward that far coming up to a wave and pulling up with your feet. When it says to "yank" the bars am I pulling towards me or to the front like a sub?

You shouldn't be swimming to it because in the first place you shouldn't let go. Iron grip the bars, lock ur feet in good and just go for it already. Im still in the learning phase, I dont think I have ever seperated from my ski trying them. I always see them to the end whether im landing on the side or whatever. After a few tries on rolling waves I was doing more of a 180 flat spin. A couple locals suggested to shorten my handlepole and hit it on a steeper wave. Bam, that was it. Now it's just perfecting them.

I tend to attack the wave to the right, and then sharp steer to the left towards the top. It came very natural after a while.

Sorry I dont mean to say I get separated, but when i fall on my side i have to get back on to the tray, im still holding on. Is your pole positioned really low? Ill try the 180s first then progress to a nose stab. I think a few beers would help lol

I was just wondering the exact same thing. I began riding two months ago and I just can't get the nose down on my stock SJ when attempting stabs. I'm going to try the two hop method it looks to be the key from what I see on youtube.

Once you get the confidence to really
Yank up with your feet and cram really hard down on the pole/nose it will happen easily
