I put a 1100 with a 155mm torrent pump, Carter B tunnel and waveraider trim in my B-1 and a lot of guys are saying I need to put a heavier steering cable (B-2) in it or strength the stock B-1 steering cable.
Does anyone know if a GP 1200 steering cable work in a Wave Blaster -1?

There not wrong, I think the gp cable is too short but jetmaniac sells the b2 cable and there not too bad I think, like 100-120 or so plus you will need the ada adapter for the hood. If you have the gp cable than you already have the through hull nut and cable ends

I think it will be long enough just gonna measure the throw. The cable is missing the 1st rubber seal on the cable from where it connects to linkage on both ends. I got it off a GP that was sitting indoors since like 96. Don't know if mice chewed them off but wonder where I can buy them?

Check SBT website, they have the length and throw measurements listed for all there steering cables so you can compare them

old thread, yes it works great in my case. B1, UMI, 2 IN JC Racing pump set back and a steering cable spacer supplied with set back kit.
