300/440/550 Does this belong on my ski?

Just picked up a new to me 85 Js 550 and while digging around inside the hull I found this laying on the engine cradle on intake side, don't think it's to the carb or anything but this is my first jet ski much less, first standup.

Looks like a dirt bike exhaust spring
It's not from your 550

Yea it looks like it belongs on my ktm 150sx, it's going in my pile of dirt bike parts! Thanks for the reply!!
