Does this sound like an exhaust leak?

RN 760 runs well for a couple minutes and then bogs and dies, but will fire right up again and run for another little bit, just like if it had an exhaust leak. I opened the hood and there was a moderate amount of smoke in the bay, and also some 2stk oil in the bottom. I pumped it out and tried again, and the exact same things happened. I looked for a leak and didnt find one, is there something that I am maybe not thinking of, or should i just recheck for a leak?

Well if there's smoke under the hood then it is obviously an exhaust leak of some sort.... If you're confident enough, I'd recommend riding with your hood off to try and find where it is coming from.

have you ran it on the trailer giving it a decent amount of throttle? maybe run some seafoam through it to get some extra white smoke action. also once you get close use your hand to feel the exhaust pulses leaking out.

Run it with the hood off and see if it is leaking.

Yes I tried this and couldnt see it coming out. It was also very windy yesterday though, so Ill give it another go tomorrow.
