double flatwater backflip?

Think anyone will every do a double flatwater backflip. I had just seen this video and the one guy is getting close to 1 1/2 turns. Never seen anyone even get that far.

Yea I have seen those vids. When looking at it a 2nd time I think the wave that he hits at the end and gets 1 1/2 turns is off a boat wake. My bad.

definatly i already was told that there are guys doing flatwater superflips so i really dont think it is far away at all

pierre is the man

i remember watching stunt junkies when ross champion was attempting it but never quite made it... that was only couple years ago when everyone thought double backy in the surf was almost impossible so it must only be time and bigger dangly parts until someone does it on flat water.

but when we talk about doing something on flat water ... does boat wake or v wake count?.....

A double Flatwater BF would be great, still working on my single front flip.;0)

Its not really a fair match up. When ross tried it for that show he had a 900cc or something around there and a ski with trim that was all built to get the double backflip in the surf. Then that ski took a crap so he was left with is regular 760 surf boat not set up for the double but he still was trying 100% anyways gotta love it.
Not taking anything away from pierre but he is on a short lightwieght rickter hull with trim and it looks like a x metal 1000 in there.

thats what im saying, as things progress then tricks become more possible...
